The new site features a responsive design interface that adapts to the screens of computers, tablets and smartphones. The editorial teams have updated the categories, with a focus on topics including Cloud, Data, Security, Storage, Workstations and Mobile. New marketing tools have also been incorporated in order to understand the needs of the readers and optimise their interactions with brands.
“With more than 450,000 monthly readers, and a third of them on tablets and smartphones, TechWeekEurope needed a new interface to respond to its success. The new website helps us achieve the vision of the group – to be an editor of ‘smart content’ for readers, as well as a provider of ‘smart data’ for advertisers,” said Laurent Delaporte, CEO of NetMediaEurope.
According to research conducted by NetMediaEurope in August 2014, about 60 percent of TechWeekEurope readers are IT professionals, with 15 percent of them describing themselves as Chief Information Officers. The research also showed that more than half of TechWeekEurope users are involved in purchasing decisions for IT solutions.
The launch of the new TechWeekEurope site is accompanied by a new iPad app, with the other mobile applications also set to be redesigned soon.
